Academics are seeking Inclusion Practitioners to join our clients team to work in a Primary School in the Southampton area. The Role

  • You will help children who face barriers to learning by providing calm, effective support during moments of dysregulation and helping them return to class ready to learn.

Key Duties

  • Respond quickly to behaviour‐related radio calls.
  • Assess situations and ensure safety for pupils and staff.
  • Use de‐escalation and regulation strategies.
  • Escort pupils where required.
  • Support their return to class and share key information with teachers.
  • Coach pupils in understanding emotions and regulation skills.
  • Help ensure any missed learning is completed.
