Academics Ltd are working with a highly regarded specialist SEMH school in Canterbury seeking a skilled and compassionate Educational Psychologist to join their dedicated multidisciplinary team. The school supports children and young people with significant Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, offering a therapeutic, holistic and highly personalised approach to education.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting high-quality psychological assessments and observations
- Collaborating with SENCOs, therapists, leaders and teaching staff to design effective support plans
- Delivering evidence-based interventions for pupils with SEMH needs
- Supporting staff through consultation, training and reflective practice
- Contributing to whole-school wellbeing strategies and the development of therapeutic approaches
We are looking for an Educational Psychologist who:
- Has experience working within SEMH, trauma, or specialist education settings
- Is reflective, collaborative and committed to inclusive practice
- Communicates effectively and builds strong, supportive relationships
- Brings creativity, resilience and a child-centred mindset
£160 – £220 per day, Mon-Fri, 08:30 to 15:30, PAYE, Term time only.
You MUST have right to work in the UK in order to apply – no Visa sponsorship. On site parking included. Degree in Psychology - BPS Accreditation.
