The Role

  • Support the Education Manager in the day-to-day running of the education department, ensuring high-quality learning provision and effective administrative systems.
  • Support the management and coordination of education and training provision within the prison.
  • Oversee learner records, timetabling, attendance, and compliance documentation.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to teaching and support staff.
  • Monitor learner progress and support quality assurance processes.
  • Liaise with prison staff, external agencies, and education partners.
  • Support staff performance, CPD coordination, and cover arrangements.
  • Ensure education provision meets Ofsted, funding, and safeguarding requirements.
