The Role
- Support the Education Manager in the day-to-day running of the education department, ensuring high-quality learning provision and effective administrative systems.
- Support the management and coordination of education and training provision within the prison.
- Oversee learner records, timetabling, attendance, and compliance documentation.
- Provide administrative and operational support to teaching and support staff.
- Monitor learner progress and support quality assurance processes.
- Liaise with prison staff, external agencies, and education partners.
- Support staff performance, CPD coordination, and cover arrangements.
- Ensure education provision meets Ofsted, funding, and safeguarding requirements.
