Academics are working with secondary schools within Warrington who are seeking a dynamic and passionate Business Studies Teacher to join for a full-time position starting in September 2024.

You will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging Business Studies lessons to students across KS3 and KS4 and have excellent knowledge of the national curriculum. You will be actively involved in the learning and progress of pupils whilst encouraging them to foster critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.

You will be a confident teacher who can establish a positive classroom environment that promotes respect and inclusivity. Supported by the department lead you will also be monitoring and assessing pupil progress and setting clear targets to support academic growth.

Requirements

  • A proven track record of teaching Business Studies across the key stages
  • To hold the relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed or BA Hons) with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for a new one through Academics (cost applied)
