An exciting opportunity in Windsor has arisen for a Behaviour Mentor to join a specialist school for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs and for those who have been excluded from mainstream education. Some of the students also have learning disabilities alongside their SEMH needs.

The position will be working 1:1 and with small groups of pupils with challenging behavioural needs. Your role will be to build positive relationships with these students to encourage them to make positive choices and to support them in learning how to regulate their emotions.

The school has a full-time educational psychologist on site as well as numerous counsellors, and the behaviour mentor will have the opportunity to shadow these professionals to learn more about these career paths.

The school acknowledges that the journey we all face together can often be fraught with highs and lows. They nurture the uniqueness and intrinsic value of all their pupils whilst working in partnership to achieve appropriate and positive outcomes for all, securing a positive way forward for their future – 'Just because you have a diagnosis, does not mean you cannot be successful'.
