Are you a passionate and experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant looking to make a difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Academics is proud to be working in partnership with a fantastic SEN school in Coventry that caters to students aged 11–19 years with a variety of additional needs. The school is seeking a dedicated TA to join their supportive and skilled team on a full-time basis starting in September 2025.

The Role:

  • Support students with SEN in both 1:1 and small-group settings
  • Work alongside teaching staff to deliver engaging, inclusive lessons
  • Assist in implementing individual learning plans and behaviour strategies
  • Help create a safe, positive, and nurturing learning environment

What we’re Looking For:

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience supporting students with SEN, ideally within the secondary or post-16 age range
  • A calm, proactive, and empathetic approach to supporting learners
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A valid, enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one through Academics)
