Learning Support Assistants needed – ASAP Start. SEN School & Alternative Provision in Portsmouth!

Academics are urgently seeking experienced Learning Support Assistants to join a Special School and Alternative Provision in Portsmouth, for young people across yr3 – KS4, who have a range of social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) developmental needs and / or medical needs.

Responsibilities

  • You will be required to support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis.
  • Due to the nature of the environment this would be suited to someone with experience of working with children with challenging behaviours in an SEN/SEMH school, although not essential.

Contract and requirements

They are looking for strong yet empathetic Learning Support Assistants who are available to start ASAP on full-time, on-going contracts. There is the opportunity there for a permanent contract if this is of interest to you.
