Academics are currently working with a vibrant and inclusive primary school based in Hammersmith and Fulham, seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join them from September. Working closely with class teachers and the SENCO, you will support pupils with a variety of additional needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and behavioural challenges. Your role will be key in promoting inclusive learning and managing behaviour positively.

  • Location: Primary school, Hammersmith and Fulham
  • Start Date: September start
  • Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday
  • Salary: £95–£110 per day (depending on experience)

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one support to a child in KS2 with SEN such as Autism and ADHD
  • Promote inclusive learning and positive behaviour management
  • Help create a supportive and nurturing classroom environment
  • Liaise effectively with teachers, therapists, and parents to support pupil progress
