We\’re looking for enthusiastic and flexible KS1 Teaching Assistants to join our supply team and work across Key Stage 1 classrooms in Hull primary schools. This supply-based role offers a mix of ad hoc, short-term, and long-term placements-perfect for individuals who thrive in dynamic settings and are eager to make a real impact on children\’s learning and development. Key Responsibilities Create a supportive and engaging learning environment for KS1 pupils. Work alongside class teachers to deliver inspiring lessons that follow the KS1 curriculum. Support children\’s development in reading, writing, maths, and essential social skills. Encourage positive behaviour and independence in line with school policies and KS1 principles. Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups based on specific learning needs. Assist with classroom organisation, resource preparation, and daily routines. Offer clear and helpful feedback to teachers about pupil progress and engagement. Help ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.Requirements Previous experience working with KS1-aged children is essential. A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable but not required. Good understanding of the KS1 curriculum and child development.
