Academics are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and welcoming primary school in Richmond, starting in September 2025. The school is looking for a Teaching Assistant who is able to have a positive impact and give classroom support to both teachers and pupils in KS1 and to help towards their development.

Location: Primary school in Richmond

Start Date: September 2025

Contract Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Salary: Β£90-Β£110 (Dependent on experience)

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning and help them reach their potential.
  • Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Help with supervision during break times and school trips.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a primary school setting (preferred but not essential).
  • A positive, proactive, and flexible approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
