Academics are currently recruiting a full-time School Caretaker to support a friendly local school in Ashford. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with previous caretaking, facilities, or site support experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Opening and securing the school site
- General site maintenance and basic repairs
- Carrying out health & safety checks
- Setting up rooms for school activities and events
- Ensuring the school grounds are clean, safe, and well maintained
- Supporting staff with ad-hoc site-related tasks
- Liaising with contractors where required
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience as a caretaker, site assistant, or facilities operative (preferred)
