The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant
- Support pupils with a wide range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, speech & language difficulties, non-verbal pupils, and learning delays
- Work 1:1 or with small groups to deliver tailored learning activities
- Assist the class teacher in creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Adapt to different school settings and teaching approaches, providing consistency and care
- Promote independence, confidence, and self-esteem in the children you support
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with children with all types of SEN, including non-verbal pupils and those on the autism spectrum
- A calm, patient, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing
- Flexibility to work across multiple Primary schools
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
