Are you tired of the full time class teacher responsibilities but still want to teach children? Would you be happy delivering pre planned lessons across Nursery to Year 6?
A 3 Form Entry Primary School located in Redbridge, London are searching for a full time PPA primary teacher to join them in either February, March or April 2026 on a long term contract for the full academic year. This role will turn into a permanent contract from 1st August 2026. They are willing to wait till April for the right person.
This role is open to both experienced primary teachers and ECTs. Please note, ECT induction will not be completed as a PPA teacher but will give you a solid year of whole school teaching. This school would be happy to put you through your ECT induction from September 2026 and prior to this, you would be well supported!
What you’ll do:
- Deliver set planned lessons across the primary school from Nursery to Year 6.
- You will NOT be required to plan or write reports but WILL be required to mark.
- Covering classes from Nursery to Year 6 on a long term basis.
- Be a reliable team member with a willingness to contribute to whole school teaching as needed.
Ideal PPA Teacher:
- Holds QTS
- Have at least 1 year UK primary teaching experience
- Ability to teach across the entire school and primary phases
- Ability to form excellent relationships and rapport with pupils
- Be supportive and a great team player
- Enthusiastic and passionate
The school is in a lovely part of Redbridge, London within walking distance of several stations with good transport links and parking available. The school is on beautiful grounds in a large modern building with great facilities and ample resources to support teaching and learning.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced teacher or recently qualified teacher looking to gain experience across year groups before starting their ECT induction.
