Academics are currently working with a highly respected school in the town of Hythe, Kent who are looking for a cover supervisor to start ASAP. This exciting role will give the successful applicant the chance to gain classroom experience and work with children in a variety of lessons. Your role will be covering classes in the absence of the teacher, using prepared plans and resources to support children to complete their work. This role would suit graduates who are thinking about entering the Education sector. Please note you will not be required to plan or assess the pupils' work.
In order to be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- An undergraduate degree
- Good behaviour management skills
- The ability to carefully follow lesson plans left by staff
- The skill to use your initiative and adapt lessons where necessary for children's understanding
- A good knowledge of ICT (this would be advantageous)
Minimum requirements:
- Have an enhanced DBS on the updated service or be willing to process a new application
- Hold the Right to Work in the UK
- Have a CV covering the history of the last 10 years
- Provide 2 references (to be discussed at registration)
