Academics are recruiting on behalf of a secondary SEMH school in Portsmouth and Cosham who have an urgent need for two experienced SEN Teachers/SEMH Teachers. They are ideally looking for secondary/SEN Teachers, although open to all.

This is to start ASAP, full-time, ongoing, working hours are 8.30am - 3.30pm.

The school, which has various sites across Portsmouth and Cosham, provides both specialist school places and Alternative Provision (AP) for students who have a range of social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) developmental needs and/or medical needs. The School offers an educational provision with a firm focus on supporting, engaging and raising the aspirations of every student. All students work towards achieving meaningful qualifications that will allow them to transition back into a mainstream school or onto Post 16 provision at one of our local FE providers.

The successful SEN Teacher/SEMH Teacher will be required to teach across KS3 and KS4. The class sizes are small so you are able to tailor lessons to meet their individual learning needs.
