Academics are seeking a strong yet compassionate KS2 Teacher to carry out a full-time contract in an established SEMH School in Portsmouth. This is to start ASAP, ongoing.
The school based in Portsmouth caters for pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs and other associated needs. They are looking for a KS2 Teacher who is able to think on their feet and enjoys working in a demanding environment with children with challenging behaviours.
Due to the nature of the school, this position is suited to someone who has worked with pupils with challenging behaviour in the past, or someone who is looking to work in a unique setting. Class sizes are smaller than in a mainstream school with a number of support staff on hand in the classroom.
You will ideally live in the Portsmouth area or be able to easily commute to Portsmouth on a daily basis.
