The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
As a Supply Special Educational Needs Teacher you will be responsible for leading, managing, and developing the curriculum within your subject area(s), creating a caring, supportive, and engaging learning environment. You will set clear learning objectives with appropriate challenge and high expectations, ensuring learners make progress in line with individual needs and agreed targets.
You will deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum and other accredited programmes, ensuring a broad and balanced curriculum. You will manage behaviour effectively to maintain a safe learning environment and uphold safeguarding and health and safety responsibilities.
The role involves organising and supporting individual learners and groups through differentiated teaching that reflects a range of abilities, while also promoting learners' social, emotional, moral, and cultural development. You will monitor, assess, and report on learner progress and manage the effective use of support staff in the classroom.
All learners will be treated with dignity and respect, with clear professional boundaries maintained and safeguarding recognised as a shared responsibility.
This role is based in Huddersfield and delivered and supported by Academics. You will have your very own SEN Consultant to support you.
