Are you an experienced Business Studies teacher looking to take the next step in your career? Academics have an exciting opportunity that will be for a January 2026 start and will run until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of a direct contract from September 2026. The role will take place in a well-established secondary school in North Leeds. In previous inspections, the school has been praised for having a supportive senior leadership team, leading to outstanding results across the board.
We are currently looking for an experienced and passionate individual to display high subject knowledge to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. As a Business Studies teacher, you will be responsible for covering all aspects of business such as marketing, finance and enterprise, as well as preparing pupils for any upcoming exams and assignments. You will have the opportunity to enhance your skills by collaborating with other teachers in the department, where you will share ideas on how to further develop the curriculum.
The ideal candidate must have valid right to work in the UK, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), and an enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one).
