Job Description
Are you an experienced HLTA looking for your next rewarding role in a welcoming primary school in Hemel Hempstead?
We are working closely with a lovely 1-form entry primary school in Hemel Hempstead who are seeking a confident and capable Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is a full-time position, initially running until the end of the academic year, with a strong possibility of extension for the right candidate.

This is a friendly, community-focused primary school with an attached nursery, catering for around 210 pupils. The Role
As a HLTA, you will play a key role across the school, supporting both pupils and teaching staff. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons to cover PPA time
- Providing small group intervention support to help pupils make progress
- Offering general classroom support across key stages
- Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff to maintain a positive learning environment

- Holds HLTA status or equivalent experience
- Has previous experience working within a primary school setting
- Is confident delivering lessons and managing a classroom
- Is proactive, flexible, and passionate about supporting children's learning
- Able to commute to Hemel Hempstead
