Join Academics, a leading education recruitment agency, and become part of our trusted team of supply staff supporting a variety of mainstream and SEND secondary schools. We are currently recruiting for experienced and confident HLTAs to work full-time on supply, with day-to-day, short-term, and long-term placements available to suit your availability and preferences. About the Role: As a Secondary HLTA working with Academics, you will: Lead whole-class lessons in the absence of the class teacher Provide targeted support to students, including small group and 1:1 interventions Support pupils with a range of learning needs, including SEND and SEMH Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to promote a positive learning environment Adapt and deliver pre-planned lessons confidently and effectivelyIdeal Candidate: HLTA status or relevant Level 4 qualification (essential) Experience working in secondary school settings Confident in managing behaviour and delivering lessons independently Flexible and adaptable to work across a range of schools Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)Why Work with Academics?
