Higher Level Teaching Assistant / Cover Supervisor January 2026 needed for local Rotherham supply work across the key stages. Education graduate, Level 4 trained ideally or degree.
About the role
HLTA/cover supervisor with a good understanding of the curriculum across the key stages from KS1 to KS2 or ECT (early career teacher) looking for more experience. Ideal candidates are professionals who feel passionate about working in a primary school environment and can help children to learn and thrive with encouraging support. This role supports education and training across Rotherham. We have supply needs for Higher Level Teaching Assistant / Cover Supervisor.

Requirements
- Hold a relevant Higher Level Teaching qualification Level 4 or 5 or degree education.
- Ideally suitable for Early Career teachers who have just finished university but do not yet have TRN or qualification.

- Have applicable references on request.
- Passionate and driven, willing to put in extra effort for the quality education of children.
- Valid Enhanced DBS ideally on the update service or willingness to get a new DBS check if needed.
