An ambitious secondary school in Hounslow is seeking to appoint a dynamic and experienced Head of Design and Technology to lead a thriving department from September 2025. The Role:

  • Lead and develop the Design & Technology curriculum across Key Stages 3–5
  • Provide inspirational leadership to a team of specialist teachers and technicians
  • Monitor teaching and learning standards to drive continual improvement
  • Develop innovative teaching strategies and foster a culture of creativity
  • Champion student achievement in product design, engineering, textiles and food technology
  • Organise extra-curricular opportunities including clubs, competitions, and exhibitions
