A wonderful 2 Form Entry Primary School in Castle Point is seeking a qualified primary teacher who is either experienced in teaching KS2 or an ECT who is passionate about teaching in KS2 to teach in a Year 5 class from February 2026 (after half term) on a full time, long-term contract.

About the role
The ideal Year 5 teacher will be able to develop the whole child and believes that each child is capable of success. The school focuses on developing the whole learner, not just core subjects. The Year 5 class is part of a 2 Form Entry school with specialist rooms for Art, PE, Computing and Music, plus a large library.
Responsibilities
- Teach Year 5/ KS2 in a 2 Form Entry school.
- Contribute to the development of the whole child and learner.
- Engage with tailored training and professional development offered by the Senior Leadership team.
- Collaborate with staff to drive high teaching standards and share best practices.
Qualifications & requirements
- Experience teaching KS2 (via employment or training) or as an ECT.
