A lively, welcoming and child-centred school based in Weston-Super-Mare are recruiting for a teaching assistant to help with support for young learners in Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 to maximise their learning potential. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate teaching assistant to jumpstart their experience within the education sector and to deepen their knowledge and understanding of the curriculum.
A graduate with a degree graded 2:2 or above is ideal for this role and a graduate with previous working experience with children is desirable but not essential. Relevant experience could include mentoring, coaching, tutoring, assisting in a nursery, childcare or similar experience within a classroom setting. Supporting children with ASD, behavioural issues and learning difficulties would be extremely beneficial for this role.
The leadership team are pursuing individuals who are enthusiastic, driven and eager to go above and beyond to make a significant difference in the lives of young children. The appointed graduate will help assist the learning across the curriculum in core subjects such as Maths and English to foundation subjects such as History and Music.
