Responsibilities

  • Support students aged 2–19 across both primary and secondary provisions
  • Help young people who may struggle with emotional regulation, behaviour, or social interaction
  • Provide consistent mentoring and positive role modelling throughout the school day
  • Work alongside teachers and SEN professionals to implement tailored support strategies
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and engagement with learning
  • Help maintain a calm, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
