Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ingredients, equipment and resources for food technology lessons
  • Support teachers and students during practical cooking sessions
  • Ensure food hygiene and health & safety standards are always followed
  • Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised kitchen environment
  • Manage stock, order ingredients and monitor supplies
  • Wash and store equipment appropriately
  • Assist with displays, coursework preparation and department organisation

  • Experience working as a Food Technician ideally in a school or food education setting
  • Knowledge of food hygiene, health and safety procedures
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
