Academics are working on a fantastic opportunity for an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our pool of welcoming primary schools in the Bradford area. Please see a brief outline of the vacancy below.
Role Information
- Area: Bradford, West Yorkshire
- Contract: Daily Supply | Short Term | Long Term
- Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 15:30
- Pay: DoE (paid via PAYE)
Additional Info: You will be supporting a number of local primary schools to provide a nurturing, engaging and inclusive EYFS environment, where early development and learning through play are a strong priority. This role involves working with children in Nursery and Reception, both in group settings and on a 1:1 basis, supporting early learning, social development and school readiness.

Key Responsibilities
- Support children across the EYFS curriculum through play-based learning
- Assist with early phonics, numeracy and communication development
- Promote positive behaviour, routine and independence
- Support children during transitions, outdoor learning and daily activities
- Work collaboratively with teachers and EYFS staff
- Build warm, positive relationships with children and staff
Person Specification / Requirements
- Previous EYFS experience preferred but not essential
- Caring, patient and enthusiastic with a nurturing approach
- Understanding of child development in the early years
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
- Passionate about helping young children grow academically, socially and emotionally
