Are you a passionate and adaptable English Supply Teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities in Worksop secondary schools? Academics are currently recruiting dedicated English Supply Teachers to work across a range of welcoming and supportive secondary schools throughout Worksop on a temporary, ongoing supply basis. Position: English Supply Teacher

Location: Worksop, Nottinghamshire

Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply

Pay: £140 – £195 per day (paid via PAYE – no umbrella company fees)

Start Date: ASAP or a start date that works for you

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Adapt lessons to suit a range of abilities and learning styles
  • Encourage confidence in reading, writing, and communication
  • Support pupils preparing for assessments and GCSEs
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Assess pupil progress and provide feedback where appropriate
  • Follow safeguarding and school procedures at all times

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
  • Degree in English or a related subject
  • Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Flexible and professional approach
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
