Location: Wakefield

Contract: Temporary (Supply through Academics)

Salary: £160 – £225 per day

Start Date: ASAP

The Role

We are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school setting to recruit a dedicated Early Years Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate professional to support children's early development in a nurturing and engaging environment.

As an Early Years Teacher you will be responsible for delivering high – quality early years education in line with the EYFS framework, creating asafe, stimulating and inclusive learning space where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

?? Plan and deliver creative, play – based learning activities in line with EYFS

?? Support children's social, emotional and academic development

?? Carry out observations, assessments and record progress

?? Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues

?? Follow safeguarding and setting plicies at all times

The Ideal Candidate

  • Hold EYTS or QTS with EYFS experience
  • Has a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
  • Is enthusiastic , patient and child – centred
  • Can work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and organisational skills

Requirements for an Early Years Teacher

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Recent experience working within an early years setting
  • Two professional references (Teaching references)
