Are you a creative and enthusiastic Drama Teacher looking for a short-term teaching opportunity in a supportive secondary school? Academics are working with a secondary school in Devizes that is seeking an engaging Drama Teacher to provide short-term cover, starting in Term 4 (February 2026). This is a full-time position, with the potential to extend depending on school needs.
Your role:
- Deliver engaging Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4 in line with the UK National Curriculum
- Create a positive and creative learning environment
- Follow existing schemes of work and lesson plans
- Support students' progress and maintain high standards of behaviour
- Contribute to extra-curricular activities where appropriate
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Drama
- Experience teaching Drama at KS3 and KS4
- A passion for the performing arts and the ability to engage and inspire students
- A valid enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
