Are you an experienced Design and Technology/resistant materials teacher looking to take the next step in your academic career? We have a fantastic long term opportunity with an immediate start at a fantastic independent secondary school in the Pontefract area. The role will involve teaching Design and Technology up to KS5, inspiring the next generation and helping them reach their full potential.
To be successful in your role as a design and technology teacher you must be able to display a good understanding of the curriculum and create a safe and positive learning environment. You will be responsible for monitoring the progress and development of the students, as well as preparing them for any upcoming exams.
As a teacher of design and technology you will need to plan and prepare high quality lessons that will keep the students engaged, along with collaborating with other members of the department by sharing ideas on how to further develop the curriculum.
