Academics Worcestershire are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join our team in Kidderminster and the surrounding areas.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring that students stay engaged and motivated to learn. Supervise classes during teacher absences, delivering pre-planned lessons effectively
Foster a positive, productive and disciplined classroom environment
Maintain student engagement, ensuring they stay focused and complete tasks as assigned
Provide feedback on student progress, behaviour and classroom dynamics to teachers and staff
Adapt to various classroom settings, ensuring consistency and continuity in student\βs learning experience
Cover Supervisor β what we\βre looking for:
Strong Leadership & Communication Skills: Able to guide and manage students with confidence
Classroom Authority: Maintain a calm, authoritative presence to manage diverse groups of students
UK-Recognised Degree and/ or Experience in Education: Prior experience in a similar supervisory role is advantageous
Adaptability: Flexible and able to adjust to different classroom environments, student needs, and teaching style
A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for a new certificate, we can help with this process)
Ability to commute reliably to schools in Kidderminster and/ or surrounding areas
