Academics is recruiting a Cover Supervision Co-ordinator in Southampton to work full-time in a secondary school on a term-time-only basis. This role focuses on organising daily staff cover and supporting supply staff to ensure continuity of learning.
Responsibilities
- Record and manage staff absence using the school system
- Arrange daily cover using internal staff or supply agencies
- Coordinate and induct supply and agency staff
- Distribute and collect cover work and resources
- Support leadership with cover and absence reporting
Additional Duties
- General administrative tasks related to staffing and cover
- Invigilate examinations when required
- Support classroom cover when needed
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a school or education setting
