Computer Science Teacher / Nantwich / February Half-Term / Fixed-Term Contract
Are you a forward-thinking Computer Science Teacher with a passion for preparing students for the digital world?
Academics are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Nantwich from February half-term until the end of the academic year (July).
This is a full-time, fixed-term position, teaching Computer Science across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. The successful candidate will be confident delivering engaging lessons, supporting student progress, and contributing positively to the department.
The Role:
- Teach Computer Science across KS4 and KS5.
- Inspire students to develop strong digital literacy and problem-solving skills.
- Plan and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons.
- Support students in understanding key concepts (e.g., programming, algorithms, data representation, and networks).
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support exam preparation.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Computer Science.
- Experience teaching Computer Science up to KS5.
- Excellent subject knowledge and ability to deliver complex content in an accessible way.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
