Academics is working on behalf of a forward-thinking alternative education provider to recruit a Community Teacher based in High Wycombe. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to transforming the lives of young people who have disengaged from traditional education.

As a Community Teacher in High Wycombe, you will support a small caseload of students - up to five at a time - delivering a bespoke learning experience in community settings, at home, or in other local facilities. Your role is to provide both academic tuition and vital pastoral care, helping learners overcome complex barriers and guiding them back toward structured education.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Delivering personalised teaching and mentoring to students aged 11-16 in the High Wycombe area.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
