We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a successful mainstream secondary school in Waltham Forest, East London. This role offers the chance to support learners across a range of abilities, including those with SEN, SEMH and challenging behaviour.

Responsibilities:
- Support teaching and learning across KS3 and KS4 in mainstream classes
- Provide targeted support for students with SEN, SEMH, and challenging behaviour
- Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions to boost academic progress
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery, classroom activities, and differentiation
- Apply de-escalation and positive behaviour management strategies
- Promote emotional regulation, resilience, and inclusion across the school
- Work closely with teachers and the SEN department to ensure all students make progress
Qualifications:
- A degree or strong A-levels (any subject) desirable
- Experience supporting young people (paid or voluntary), ideally in a school setting
- Previous SEN/SEMH experience or knowledge of behaviour management strategies highly beneficial
