Are you a motivated and passionate Early Years or Nursery Practitioner? Can you build positive working relationships with learners, parents, and staff within an Early Years setting? Due to a recent high demand from our partnership nurseries and schools, Academics are looking for enthusiastic and qualified Nursery Practitioners to work across our mainstream nurseries and primary schools in Cheshire East. This flexible role is ideal for Early Years and Nursery Practitioners who are seeking varied experience, a work-life balance, or those returning to the workforce on a full or part-time basis.
Responsibilities of a Nursery Practitioner:
- Work alongside teachers and fellow practitioners to deliver fun EYFS appropriate lessons and activities.
- Provide high standards of care, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
- Support children's early literacy, numeracy, communication, and personal development.
- Encourage independence, positive behaviour, and social interaction.
For this role, applicants must have:
- A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent).
- A good level of literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE English and Maths Grade 4 or Grade C and above/Functional Skills Level 2 in the minimum required).
- Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or primary school setting in the UK.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
- Paediatric First Aid (or be willing to work towards).
