We are seeking a caring, committed, and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in a welcoming and inclusive school in Cardiff.
The Role
- Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with additional learning needs (ALN)
- Support learning, engagement, and emotional wellbeing throughout the school day
- Work closely with the class teacher, ALNCo, and wider support team
- Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Experience working with children, ideally in a 1:1 or ALN support role
- A patient, nurturing, and flexible approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- An understanding of ALN such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or speech and language needs (desirable but not essential)
