Are you a Psychology graduate looking to gain hands‑on experience supporting children and young people with additional needs? We are working with specialist SEN and SEMH schools across East Kent who are seeking Psychology graduates to support pupils with autism, emotional and mental health needs, and behavioural challenges. This role is ideal if you are considering a future in clinical psychology, educational psychology, therapy, counselling or mental health services.
The Role:
- Support pupils on a 1:1 and small‑group basis
- Assist with emotional regulation, behaviour support and engagement
- Apply psychological principles in a real‑world setting
- Work alongside teachers, SENCOs, therapists and pastoral teams
- Build strong, consistent relationships with pupils who benefit from structure and trust
What we are looking for:
- A genuine interest in child psychology, behaviour or mental health
- Strong communication and emotional intelligence
- Patience, resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- A proactive, positive attitude
Excellent on‑site training, support and CPD is provided to ensure safeguarding of all students. 90 - 100 per day, Mon‑Fri, 08:30 to 15:30, PAYE, Term time only. You MUST have right to work in the UK in order to apply - no Visa sponsorship. On site parking included.
