We are seeking a caring and dedicated 1:1 KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a lovely primary school in the heart of Cannock. This role involves working 1:1 with a polite, hard-working pupil within KS1; the role includes providing support to learning, development and wellbeing within a warm classroom environment. It’s a great opportunity to make a difference to a child’s learning journey within a supportive school setting.
The Role Includes:
- Providing valuable 1:1 support to a KS1 pupil.
- Short term cover opportunity to cover 2 weeks as a 1:1 KS1 Teaching Assistant, in a reputable school in Cannock.
- Assisting the class teacher and KS1 team as required.
- Nurturing a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working in KS1 (1:1 experience is desirable).
- Obtains a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Certificate.
- Is patient, caring and reliable.
- Is able to follow guidance from the class teacher and adapt to support individual needs.
- Has an Enhanced DBS.
- Is available to start ASAP.
- Is fully registered to work with Academics.
Pay: £90 - £100 a day (dependent upon experience). Holiday pay is included on day rate.
