About the Role

Academics is currently seeking enthusiastic and committed Maths Teachers to work on a full-time supply basis across secondary schools in Bradford. This role involves delivering high-quality Mathematics lessons through long-term placements, supporting students to achieve strong academic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons
  • Teach across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable)
  • Assess, track, and report on student progress
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
  • Support students' confidence and attainment in Mathematics
  • Work collaboratively with departmental and school staff

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Maths in secondary schools
  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
