Job role
- Acting as the first point of contact, welcoming visitors, answering phone calls, managing emails, and sending school-wide communications.
- Maintaining accurate student records, managing nursery/reception admissions, processing in-year transfers, and handling school census data.
- Monitoring pupil attendance, contacting parents regarding absences, and preparing reports for attendance officers.
- Maintaining school office systems, ordering supplies, maintaining staff records, and taking minutes at meetings.
- Handling petty cash, processing invoices, and assisting with financial records or budgeting.
- Following strict child protection policies, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring a safe environment.
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of FMS, SIMS, Parentmail and InVentry systems.
- Proficient in financial management systems and Microsoft packages.
- Able to lead and develop a team with enthusiasm and clarity.
- Demonstrates excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Works independently and uses initiative while knowing when to escalate issues.
