Behavioural Support Teaching Assistant – Southampton Academics are currently recruiting Behavioural Support Teaching Assistants with good behavioural management skills in Southampton to fulfil daily supply, short term and long term full-time contracts to from January. The role of Behavioural Support Teaching Assistant involves enabling young people to develop and make progress by providing physical, emotional and nurturing support during their school day as well as supporting the Teacher in your classroom. This means you must have great communication skills in order to build relationships with both your students and the staff. The position of Behavioural Support Teaching Assistant involves working as part of a team to maintain a stable, happy and caring environment that makes the health, safety, care and welfare of young people a priority.
