Academics are seeking a Behaviour Support Lead to drive positive behaviour strategies across an SEN school.

Key Responsibilities of a Behaviour Support Lead:

  • Lead the school’s behaviour management and pastoral strategy.
  • Develop and implement systems to support pupils with behavioural, social, and emotional needs.
  • Mentor and coach behaviour staff, including SEN TAs and Behaviour Mentors.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders, teachers, parents, and external agencies.
  • Monitor behaviour data, attendance, and outcomes to inform strategy.

Ideal Candidate for the position of Behaviour Support Lead:

  • Proven experience in behaviour management leadership or senior pastoral roles.
  • Strong understanding of SEMH, SEN, and inclusion principles.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
  • Confident, calm, and solution-focused under pressure.
