Academics Ltd is currently recruiting for a Key Stage 2 Teacher to teach a Year 5 class in a Welsh-medium primary school in Barry. The Role:
- Full classroom responsibility for a Year 5 class within a Welsh-medium school.
- Delivering the curriculum through the medium of Welsh.
- Creating a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
- Planning, preparing, and assessing work in line with curriculum guidelines.
- Supporting pupil progress across all areas of learning.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Fluent Welsh language skills (spoken and written).
- Recent experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 5.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A passion for Welsh language and culture in education.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one through Academics).
