Academics are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join a well-regarded school in Barking and Dagenham from September 2026. This is a full-time contract role for one term initially, with the potential to be extended beyond the initial contract period for the right candidate.

The Early Years Teacher will play a vital role in both the pastoral care and early development of pupils, supporting children at a crucial stage in their learning journey. Pupils benefit from a nurturing and stimulating environment where they develop strong early foundations and make excellent progress.

The school promotes a child-centred approach to learning and encourages staff to deliver creative, engaging, and developmentally appropriate experiences that inspire curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.

  • Contract: 1-Term Contract - September 2026 Start
  • Potential for Extension Beyond Initial Contract
  • Full Time - Monday to Friday
  • Salary: M2-M6 (Dependent on Experience)
  • Location: Barking and Dagenham

The successful Nursery Class Teacher will:

  • Has experience within Early Years and/or Nursery settings

  • Can build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
