About the Role
As Assistant Headteacher, you will play a vital role in the strategic leadership of the school, working closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to drive improvement and innovation. You will be a key figure in shaping teaching & learning, staff development, and the overall pupil experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on curriculum development and teaching & learning strategies, ensuring the highest standards of education
- Support and inspire teachers to deliver outstanding classroom practice through coaching, mentoring, and professional development
- Uphold the school’s high expectations for pupil achievement, behaviour, and personal development
- Champion inclusion and safeguarding, ensuring every child thrives in a safe, nurturing environment
- Take a proactive role in whole-school initiatives and strategic planning, contributing to school-wide improvement
