Academics is proud to be working in partnership with a well‑respected and high‑performing school in the Cheshire East area, to recruit an inspiring English Teacher to join their department from February half‑term through to May half‑term.
This is a fantastic opportunity to teach motivated students in a supportive, well‑led environment with excellent behaviour and strong leadership.
The Role- Planning and delivering high‑quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Engaging and motivating students of mixed ability
- Marking and assessing in line with school policy
- Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and achievement
- Contributing positively to the wider school community
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in English (or equivalent)
- Has recent experience teaching English at KS3 & KS4
- Is confident, organised, and passionate about English
- Has strong classroom management skills
- Is reliable and committed for the full duration of the placement
- Competitive daily rate of 170-232, paid to you weekly (DOE)
- Long‑term, stable placement in a fantastic school
- A referral scheme, paying you up to 125 for every successful recommendation
- Dedicated consultant support throughout your placement
