If so, Academics are currently looking for someone to work as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant with a pupil in a Chepstow Primary School who has Additional Learning Needs.
Key responsibilities:- Providing 1:1 support specially tailored to a KS1 pupil with ALN
- Assisting the pupil with classroom activities including basic numeracy and literacy tasks
- Implementing strategies to support the pupil's academic development
- Building a positive relationship with the pupil
- Communicate effectively with the pupil’s teacher and parents to monitor and track progress
- Long term work
- Competitive daily rate between £90 and £95
- Refer a friend scheme (earn up to £125)
- Experience in a SEN setting (essential)
- Experience working 1:1 with ALN pupils (desirable)
- Enhanced DBS (We can assist with the process)
- Registration with the EWC (Education Workforce Council) – we are here to help with the process
- Two professional and recent references
