Teaching Assistant – Early Years – Permanent Role We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in the Redhill area. As an Early Years Teaching Assistant , you will play a crucial role in supporting the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality education and care to children aged 3-5 years. You will assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and engaging learning environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. Responsibilities: Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to support children’s learning and development. Provide a safe and caring environment where children can explore and learn through play. Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Observe and assess children’s progress, and communicate with parents about their child’s development. Maintain accurate records and contribute to the overall operation of the setting. Requirements: Previous experience working with young children in a childcare setting. Knowledge of child development and early year’s curriculum. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development. Advantageous : Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).
